Some sounds you might have heard on tonite's radio broadcast

"thunk": baseball hitting catcher's mitt, over and over, as Feliz Ks with bases loaded in 1st to end inning (an at-bat that began with slider 23 feet outside which was swung at as if grim reaper himself would pay Feliz immediate visit if said swing did not occur); "thud": double-play ball by (again) Feliz with (again) bases jammed in the 3rd; "boom...Boom...BOOM!": three moonshots off Correia; "rrrrrip!": one of Durham's oft-pulled muscles, or bones, or whatever, acting up or getting bruised in the 5th, causing him to leave game and (again) closing trade window just when his stock rises; "BOOOOOOOO!!!": announced crowd of 42,277 -- sounding (with increasing regularity in '05) as if only 22,277 actually showed up -- after SF puts 9 runners on over the first 4 innings and gets zero runs.

6-1 loss vs ATL   |   40-52

What you wouldn't have heard:
"Now batting. Left fielder. Number twenty-five. Baarrrrrryyyyyyyyy. Bonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndsssssssss." Is it any wonder the Giants stink this year? Thanks, Barry. For nothing.
