After Linden's clutch 3-run HR in 9th gives SF 3-run lead, Walker can't throw strikes, falls behind batters, gives up two-out game-tying HR, blows save (however, still dominant in save situations as closer: now 10-for-11 (.909), much better than Benitez's 2 blown in 6 tries (.667)) ; Eyre coughs up HR in 10th to end things; inconsistent pitching and defense turn possible 5-1 trip into subpar 3-3.
